There’s been a noticeable shift in the way men approach their wardrobes.

It’s no longer just about what you wear to be seen — it’s about what you wear to move. Comfort, performance and versatility have become just as important as cut and fabric. And increasingly, that mindset extends beyond clothing.

At Union 22, that shift has led us somewhere new.

Introducing 4T2

The latest addition to Union 22 isn’t a jacket, a knit or a pair of trousers — it’s a running shoe.

4T2 is a relatively young brand, founded by experienced industry figures with a simple premise: create footwear that reflects how people actually run today. Not just chasing personal bests, but building something that fits into everyday life.

The brand itself was born during the pandemic — a time when running became less about competition and more about routine, clarity and balance.

That philosophy still sits at the core of everything they do.

Performance, Reconsidered

What sets 4T2 apart is how it approaches performance.

Rather than focusing purely on speed or innovation for the sake of it, the emphasis is on feel — how a shoe works across different types of runs, different days, and different lifestyles.

From the “Weekdays” model designed as a reliable everyday trainer, to the more relaxed “Sundays” built for longer, slower runs, each pair is created with a specific rhythm in mind.

There’s a balance here that feels deliberate:

  • Lightweight construction
  • Stable, wider base
  • Softer heel and more forgiving fit
  • A natural, smooth ride

All of it designed to make running feel less forced — and more intuitive.

Built by Runners

At its core, 4T2 is a brand shaped by experience.

The team behind it has spent decades in performance footwear, working across design, development and manufacturing. The result is a product that combines technical knowledge with a more human understanding of running itself.

Their philosophy is simple:

Running isn’t just about results — it’s about the relationship you build with it.

That idea runs through everything, from the design of the shoes to the way they’re named and positioned.

A New Category at Union 22

Bringing 4T2 into Union 22 marks the beginning of something new.

This isn’t just about adding footwear — it’s about expanding into a performance category that aligns with how our customers actually live.

More movement. More versatility. A wardrobe that works across the day — not just for specific moments.

4T2 fits naturally into that space.

It sits alongside brands built on quality and design, but introduces a more technical, performance-led dimension that feels increasingly relevant.

Where It Fits

What makes 4T2 work within Union 22 is its balance.

It’s not overly aggressive.
Not overly technical.
Not designed purely for athletes.

Instead, it sits somewhere in between:

  • Functional, but refined
  • Technical, but wearable
  • Performance-led, but understated

Which, in many ways, mirrors the direction modern menswear is heading.

The Three Models

At the core of 4T2 is a simple idea — running isn’t one thing.

Some days are structured.
Some are spontaneous.
Some are slower, longer and more considered.

The collection is built around that rhythm, with three distinct models designed for different types of movement.

Weekdays — Everyday Road Running

Weekdays is the foundation.

Designed for consistency, routine and the runs that fit around everything else. Early mornings, late evenings, and everything in between.

It’s a neutral road running shoe built to feel natural and stable underfoot. A wider base provides confidence and balance, while a slightly softer heel counter and roomier forefoot make it comfortable across repeated use.

The geometry is designed to support a smoother, more natural stride — less forced, more intuitive.

This is the pair you reach for most often.

Get Lost — Trail Running

Get Lost takes the same thinking off-road.

Get Lost Mens Running Trainers

Built for trails, uneven terrain and runs that are less about structure and more about exploration. It’s a more rugged, adaptable version of the Weekdays model, designed to move confidently across changing surfaces.

The key difference is underfoot.

A Vibram Litebase Megagrip outsole provides exceptional traction and durability — widely regarded as one of the best in trail running. Combined with the same stable platform and natural ride, it delivers grip without sacrificing comfort.

It’s a shoe designed for movement without direction.

Sundays — Long, Slower Runs

Sundays is built for a different pace.

4T2 Mens Running Trainer

Longer runs, slower runs, and the kind of sessions where time matters less than how it feels. Whether that’s distance, recovery or simply clearing your head, this model is designed to support it.

A softer midsole setup and a slightly higher drop reduce strain through the calves and Achilles, making it more forgiving over longer distances. The ride is smoother, more relaxed and intentionally less aggressive.

It’s about ease, not effort.

A System, Not Just a Shoe

What ties all three models together is consistency.

Each pair shares a similar design philosophy — stable, comfortable and built around natural movement — while adapting to different environments and paces.

It’s a modular approach to running.

Not built around performance extremes, but around how people actually run.

Fit & Sizing

When it comes to sizing, 4T2 runs slightly different to more familiar performance brands.

We recommend going up half a size from your usual fit in Nike, ASICS, Diadora or similar running trainers. This allows for a more comfortable fit through the forefoot and better accommodates movement over longer runs.

If you’re between sizes, opting for the larger size will give you a more natural, relaxed feel underfoot.
