Ferilli Size Guide

Ferilli is regular fit, so take your normal size. The pieces are cut with a little room by design, so a regular fit here sits a touch looser than it would on a slim brand - that is the line Ferilli is built around and you get it by ordering your usual size, not by adjusting. This guide gives the full EU to UK conversion for the tops and the trousers, and explains how the technical stretch affects the fit. Everything we carry from Ferilli is technical stretch.

Does Ferilli Run Big or Small?

Neither. Ferilli is true to size. Every Ferilli product at Union 22 carries the Regular Fit indicator, so your normal size will fit you properly.

Expect it to sit a touch loose, and that is correct. Ferilli is built around a relaxed technical line rather than a close one, so a regular fit on this brand has a little more room through the body than a regular fit elsewhere. That is the cut, not a sizing error, and you get it by taking your normal size.

Do not size up to chase it. The room is already in the garment. Going up gives you something loose rather than relaxed, and on a technical piece that costs you the line the fabric was cut for.

The Union 22 Fit System

Every product page at Union 22 carries one of three fit indicators. It is an instruction about sizing, not a description of the style:

REGULAR FIT - TAKE YOUR NORMAL SIZE
True to size, no adjustment needed. This is the label on every Ferilli product we carry. The relaxed line is built into the cut, so your normal size gives you it.
SLIM FIT - SIZE UP ONE
The garment cuts close through the chest and shoulders and needs the size above. No Ferilli product carries this indicator.
BIG FIT - SIZE DOWN ONE
The piece comes up large and needs the size below. No Ferilli product carries this indicator.

Ferilli Size Conversion: Hoodies, Jackets & Tops

Ferilli sizes on the Italian scale, where the number is roughly your half chest in centimetres. Every piece at Union 22 is listed with both, for example EU 50 / L UK.

Ferilli / EUUKChest (inches)
EU 46S36-38"
EU 48M38-40"
EU 50L40-42"
EU 52XL42-44"
EU 54XXL44-46"

Measure your chest under the arms across the fullest part, with the tape level and not pulled tight. Ferilli grades in even sizes only, so there is nothing between a 50 and a 52 to fall into.

Ferilli Trousers: Waist Conversion

Ferilli trousers use Italian waist sizing, which is your UK waist plus 16. A UK 34 is an EU 50.

UK WaistFerilli / EU
UK 30EU 46
UK 32EU 48
UK 34EU 50
UK 36EU 52
UK 38EU 54

Measure around your natural waist where the trouser actually sits, not where a belt sits, and take that size. A trouser that is loose at the waist will not hang correctly however relaxed the rest of the brand is cut.

The technical stretch in the fabric means a true waist will still be comfortable to sit in and travel in, which is what the trousers are designed for.

About the Technical Stretch

Everything we carry from Ferilli is built in the same technical stretch cloth, across the zip hoodies, the full-zip jackets and the tailored sport pants. That is the brand rather than one line within it.

It matters for sizing because the stretch does some of the work. A piece that is a fraction snug will move with you rather than pulling, which is why your normal size is the right call throughout. It is also why the trousers can be taken at a true waist and still be comfortable over a long day.

About Ferilli at Union 22

Ferilli sits in the technical end of what we carry: zip hoodies, full-zip jackets and tailored sport trousers, all cut in the same stretch cloth and made for travel, city wear and off-duty dressing rather than for occasions.

Every piece is listed with both EU and UK sizes and the fit stated on the page, so the sizing answer is there before you need this guide.
