Fila Size Guide
Fila is regular fit, so take your normal size. That is the answer across the range - the track and baseball jackets, the suede outerwear, the knitted polo and the pants. Below you will find the EU to UK conversion for the tops and the trousers, and a note on sizing a jacket that is meant to be layered.
Does Fila Run Big or Small?
Neither. Fila is true to size. Every Fila product at Union 22 carries the Regular Fit indicator, so order the size you normally wear.
There is no catch on this brand. The jackets, the polo and the pants are all cut to a normal modern fit, so your usual size is the right one and there is nothing to adjust for.
The Union 22 Fit System
Every product page at Union 22 carries one of three fit indicators. It is an instruction about sizing, not a description of the style:
Fila Size Conversion: Jackets, Polos & Tops
Sizing is on the Italian scale, where the number is roughly your half chest in centimetres. Every piece at Union 22 is listed with both, for example EU 50 / L UK.

Measure your chest under the arms across the fullest part, tape level and not pulled tight. Even sizes only. Not every piece is cut across the full run - the knitted polo reaches a 3XL while most of the jackets stop at an XXL, so the size selector on each product shows what we hold in that one.
Fila Pants: Waist Conversion
The pants use Italian waist sizing, which is your UK waist plus 16.

Measure around your natural waist where the trouser actually sits, and take that size. The colour-block pants are cut to pair back with the matching jacket, so if you are buying both, order each to its own measurement rather than matching the numbers.
Sizing a Jacket You Will Layer
Most of what we carry from Fila is outerwear - the Settanta and Isaac baseball jackets, the Francesco suede jacket, the track tops. Take your normal size on all of them.
A baseball or track jacket cut regular has already been drafted to go over a tee or a knit. There is no need to add a size for the layer, and doing so gives you a jacket that sits away from the body rather than one with room in it.
The suede Francesco is the one piece where a snug fit matters more, because suede does not recover the way a knit does. If you are between sizes on that one, take the larger.
What To Do If You Are Between Sizes
Go up. Fila grades in even sizes only, so there is nothing between an EU 50 and an EU 52. On outerwear the larger size is almost always the better call, and it is the right one on the suede.
